Travel Vaccination

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to come to the surgery to complete a travel form.This is to determine which vaccinations you may require. The Practice Nurse will contact you to make an appointment to discuss your travel arrangements.

You need to contact us at least 6 weeks before you travel s there is enough time to book an appointment for vaccinations should you need any. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. 

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

Please ensure you allow adequate time for vaccination before booking your holiday.
